Behind The Lens-2013

Welcome to my scrapbook of 2013! I hope you find something you love in these frames. I decided not to include the scariest-shower of the year pic (a god-forsaken backstage bathroom at a club in Ohio), or the ones of me crying when I couldn’t speak or perform after finding out about the vocal polyps on my throat, or any of the great shots while I was hurling out the van window at 1am with food poisoning just trying to make it to the next show. These are the visually pleasing ones, for your sake. It was the busiest year of my life and I’m constantly struggling with making sure I have adequate time for all of my loved ones. Finding more balance between my work and personal life is my new journey for 2014. I hope yours was as crazy beautiful and fabulously exhausting as mine, filled with all of the incredible highs and painful lows that make all of us who we are…

Holly, I love the look of the new shop! Hoping to visit Nashville in March, when Jewel comes to play and record her new CD. And I really enjoyed your photos.

Just drove up from a visit to Miami with my daughter. The best part of being on the highway were the stops – boiled peanuts, Georgia pecans, peach cider, and if one is lucky enough, little antique stores along the way.

Much luck, love, and success to you and yours in the New Year.
