This is how I hope to feel every single day this year (with my hair preferably looking that “undone”). This was taken by my husband at the idyllic Blackberry Farm when I had a show there in December. I’m wearing my favorite Yigal Azrouel scarf, J. Crew cashmere sweater, and Mossimo shades from Tar-Jay. It’s been almost 3 weeks in this fantabulous month filled with detoxes, closet-cleanouts, resolutions, and a general “reset” button for all. I have done none of this. I’ve been to NYC for a 72 hour whirlwind buying trip for H. Audrey (with an essential meal at Balthazar), down to Sullivan’s Island, SC for a writing (and eating) trip, getting ready to move into a house we bought 3 weeks ago (our first yard!!), and in the studio every weekday recording and finishing writing my new album. Unfortunately I’ve had to take a few weeks away from the blog to make sure my head is focused on the music! I will be back soon with more food, fashion and travel stories…
